That receiver is BOL, the turntable is one up from BOL. Still nice stuff.
One lonesome Saturday, after a bad thunderstorm the night before, a guy comes in and starts unloading all his gear. Nakamichi pre and power amp, Dragon cassette, B&O 8000 turntable, Revox RTR, Klipsch Cornwalls, ADS 1280's, and an R-300 he was using as a tuner. We had sold him all his gear except the RTR. Lightning hit his house and blew up everything, started a small fire in the house wiring, even. Nearly everything was fried to a crisp, except the R-300 which fired up after we replaced the power fuse and sounded fine. The B&O needed a couple of caps and was good to go but everything else was shot. The insides of the pre and power amp were literally blown apart and all the woofers were frozen up. Even the speaker wire smelled burnt. He brought it all in because his insurance guy told him to so he could get the claim going ASAP.
