Have you seen his performance in the movie "Urgh! A Music War" ? Amazing. I was rather stunned the first time I saw it. The documentary about him is interesting too, it's very sad that he was the first celebrity AIDS casualty. Thanks for posting the video link.

That is where I first learned of him. Probably around 1983. URGH is a great movie with loads of amazing performances.

Me too, only much, much later than 1983. I see "Urgh" has finally been officially released on DVD, that's good.
