The product is silicone based and is designed to prevent exactly that. Never had an issue.

I stand corrected on the armor all, but it did leave "something" on the bag. The trim detailer doesn't.

Here’s a before and after of mine.

Never liked the sound of that Thorens mat on my TD-160. Using a cork & rubber mat from Vinyl Nirvana that's much better!

I also use a cork mat but once I saw this thread I went and found my original one and put it on. I’m going to use it for a few days and see how I like it.
