Cleaning Piano Keys on Technics

I have a Technics M33 cassette deck, and the keys are sticking.
To tell the truth, I'd rather pay someone who really knows how to clean,
lubricate, inspect and maintain a deck, but do you have any tips on getting
these function keys to loosen up? It looks like I'm going to have to pull the deck apart.
(I'd buy the service manual, but I am not sure if it covers this operation). s-l400.jpg

That's an easy one: You don't have to take the deck apart, but you do have to take the face-plate off. There should be some screws on top and bottom to remove it. They are visible once you get the cover off. You don't lube the buttons, per-se, but instead, you re-lube a shaft that runs through the row of buttons.
You will see the end of the shaft on the left side of the buttons once you get the face-plate off. (There are actually two parallel push-button shafts there, and you can squirt some WD-40 on both ends of them. Work the buttons a few times to make sure you got it working better.
