Congratulations! Please keep us updated on the performance development of your new setup.

Very nice setup, there's nothing quite like the fun of a new deck, re-listening to old albums as if it were the first time again. Keep us updated on your impressions as it settles in to your system and gets some hours on it.

That is a fine looking rig, to be sure :thmbsp:. I look forward to your comments on the Maestro after it's had a chance to break in a bit.

Beauty! Care to tell the class what you ran previously and any immediate impressions or differences with the change?

Previouislly in system #1 I had a Sony PS-X75,Empire LAC600 MM Cartridge, and Cambridge Audio 640P.This has been moved and is my new system #2.
The above combo no slouch either.

New system has more slam, ballz, detail, warmth, wider soundstage ect.Only 4 hours of breakin so far but great right from the get go.A great feautre was that everything was setup at and factory.Just 10 mins. setup time. The TT itself is very light but the platter is massive.Modern well built and thought out design.Great stuff.Love the simplicity of it.

The Maestro is said to be one or THE finest MM carts you can buy today and it certainly sounds the part. That said I only have vintage MM to compare it to and they were used on other systems.I would not be surprised if my Empire LAC600 or Audio Technica AT15XE or AT20SS could hang with the Maestro if installed on the concept.

How's that Concept sounding, or are you too busy breaking out the old records...:music:!

Art it sounds spectacular. Was able to listen to about 4-5 hours today.General all around complete satisfaction with the entire package.Prior to getting this I sold 4 of my vintage turntables and still have 2 besides the concept in system #2/#3.I must keep my paws off the concept as I do habitual cartridge rolling on the vintage tables.Do to the non removable headshell and fragile wires and that the antiskate is located under the turntable it prevents me from getting midevil on this table and that is a good thing......:music: I am only allowed to level and adjust tracking force.Self imposed law.

I hear you on the non-fiddling. I haven't taken my 10x5 off of the VPI since I got it, though I adjusted it's azimuth slightly (unipivot arm). Isn't it nice to just have something and be completely happy with it? I'm thinking of getting a Concept for the bedroom and getting rid of my vintage decks (except my Empires :)).
