They sound great , although they are still in the break in process.

Niiice!! I had the lowly Raven C with the auccuton tweeter and it was awesome!!
Thanks! I’ve heard great things about the Raven C, I loved my Khorus’s and believe it or not I was hesitant to get these. But I figured if I didn’t give them a shot I’d kick myself because they do not come up for sale often. I’m glad I did because even though they need to be broken in and I still need to get optimal placement, they sound excellent.

I can only imagine the effort it took to move those beasts around – 330lbs each, that’s wild. I had a similar experience recently when I moved some heavy equipment into my place. We had to carry everything up a flight of stairs, and it was definitely a team effort. I ended up getting a solid ladder from Ladder NZ (they have great options for heavy-duty stuff, by the way) to help with other tasks around the house after that. Made the whole process much easier and safer!
Yes it was a chore, I had 3 guys carrying each speaker up to my house and into place in my room. Once they were in place I used carpet gliders to position them until I got the sound dialed in minus the giant spikes of course lol. Once that was done (which is another thread in itself because dialing these in perfectly is like performing surgery) I then put the spikes on using a mini car jack (I’m kidding lol) and that was it. Since I first got them I’ve had my room acoustically treated and have my system Dirac live and REW calibrated.
