I went to the corner store for smokes, & there was a guy checking out ahead of me who seemed to be a little pokey, doing scratchers validation & such. I wasn't in any hurry, just couldn't help noticing, then I found out why. Turns out he'd just won $10,000!!! :banana: So of course I realized that what I was really after all along was a scratcher & a couple spins on the Powerball game. ;) I told the guy who'd won, that he oughta pass along his good luck, & that made him smile. The scratcher was worthless, lol, but maybe tomorrow I'll update this post, that I hit the Powerball. :D ;)

Nah, there's obviously some fibbing involved there. This guy really did win, & I really was about a foot from him as we passed each other. That's kinda close. ;)
 
I bought a couple of Powerball tickets today, too. Let's make a deal Spaceman. If you win - you have a huge party with lobster and shrimp - fly my husband and I out there for it. If we win - we'll do the same for you and your wife! :D

That sounds interesting, but I'm not married, so can I bring a special surprise guest? I'm not seeing anyone either, so she'd be a surprise for me too. ;)
 
Spaceman - you can bring anyone you wish. My philosophy: Do whatever you want - just leave me and my husband out of it! :yes:
 
Welp, my best ticket had one number right, plus the powerball number. :sigh: Looks like fish sticks & french fries, and you'll have to hitch hike, lol. ;) Lemme know if you won, I still haven't started screening the replies from my CL ad. :D ;)

Man, I can't imagine winning 10k, seriously. I would certainly like to have the experiance though:D. Ah well, maybe the winner will do something good with the money, right?...we can all hope. They say someone has to be the winner, but i've never met one...
 
Sapceman, if you win BIG, I can dig up a neice or cousin, ex-spouse, ex-girlfriend or someone to cure your problem and make your life complete. I do not warrant in what way she will make your life complete. Good luck.
