I have a full review of the C/M Labs CM-15 from the Winter 1975 issue of Consumer Guide Stereo and Tape Quarterly. MSRP was $1000/pair, it uses 2 dome tweeters, a 6" mid and 15" woofer, and weighs 85 lbs each.

A 15' cable was provided for the feedback to the amp.

The review was mostly favorable, except an upper treble peak that was observed by some on the review panel.

I can scan the review and send it to you if you like.

If you scan the review, how about also posting it either here or at HiFi Engine? I bet others would be interested.
The OP might also try the Bozak forum, since Wayne Chu, who was the C of CM posts there occassionally -- Bozak and CM had a cooperative arrangement for a while and then Bozak seems to have absorbed them.

another question on those if anyone knows is, how do you hook them up? lol. there are 6 pins in the back that looks like a connector of some sort went to them. never seen anything like that before.

As I understand it, the request for docs has to be posted in the Digital Docs forum, and then I can send it to be posted. Correct me if that's not the case.

HiFi Engine has not been taking new docs for a while; I've tried a few times, and keep getting this message:

Upload Scans

The HiFi Engine and Vinyl Engine sites are currently undergoing a complete rewrite of the software. During this period I am unable to accept any new scans for processing. Once complete I will finish processing the scans already uploaded before reopening the upload form.

Thanks for your understanding and I hope you continue to find the site useful :)

Regards,
JaS

Bozak was affiliated with C/M labs while Wayne was with C/M Labs, however the speakers were a development AFTER Wayne had left C/M Labs so I don't think he will have much information for you. Ed

Didn't know that. Given that I had no idea CM ever made speakers, I had no idea of the time frame. Do you know who designed them? Maybe Bob Betts or Peter Lederman (the guy now at soundsmith)?
