Just received a TX-1000 and CX-1000 from John (coilvoice) and was I impressed with the awesome packing job that he did. Both came in one box and it was so well done that double boxing it would have added nothing. Hand cut styrofoam and strategically placed "corners" and cut filling insured that it got to me safely. He certainly knows how to pack audio gear and even if these items came stright from Yamaha in the original boxes, they would not have been better protected!

Oh yeah, the price was also great. I'm a happy camper

Thanks for the kind words John and I'm glad the equipment made the long haul from the east coast to the west coast! I do my best to insure a safe transport hence the custom fit box and custom fit foam inserts etc. I hope you enjoy the Yamaha preamp and tuner and I would like to add that you were a pleasure to do business with as well! +2 I bought a cx-2000 from him a while back and he was great to deal with, shipped quickly and the packaging was the best i have seen yet. The Price was great as well.
