What the what?!? A thread about my town?
I would like to hear those Grenadiers, but the ad is down. I suspect the previous owner of my Empire turntable had a pair and it would be kind of fun to reunite them. And, no drink rings on that granite top.
Those Altecs are half price now. Still out of my league, but...there's that.

Both sales are the same seller. I wouldn't be surprised if they're on AK. I wouldn't mind having a beverage with them and hearing about the Edison restoration! In my mind it's like working on a clock, but on a larger scale.

The guy with the altecs and the empires is an AKer. Not sure about the edison guy, but I wouldn't be surprised

What, no Columbia CL action since last year?

You guys ever check out FB Marketplace? Can be quite the rabbit hole...

Howdy Tox! Long time no see on AK.
I look on FB Marketplace occasionally, but mostly for woodworking stuff. Know anyone with a bandsaw capable of 10-12" resaw cuts that'll run on 15 amps?
I'm thinking about dumping some of my long-neglected audio gear for bandsaw money.

Hmmm...that's a big saw. Bigger than mine. Text me what you're cutting, I might have some ideas.
If you're in the market for a big band saw, keep an eye on govdeals.com, auction site for govt surplus. Lots of schools etc. put equipment on there.
