Hello audio-karma guys!

I am currently looking for information on several audio brands (general information, history).

Could you tell me where I should post these requests for information? It's not equipment-specific, so I thought I shouldn't post it in the speaker/turntable section or anything like that, but I can't find out where I should post it instead.

Ah ok great! Thanks Krowmagnum.

They are quite a few brands... mostly very unknown brands with few models, which were around for just a small amount of time. I'm not sure about how to post the companies, because posting a list would probably drive me crazy when (hopefully) the information stream would come in.

Any Ideas on how to post the requests? It's pretty important to me!

Have you tried the google search function at the top of each page on AK?

If that doesn't work then just post a list.

Right now it's like your asking for something but won't let anyone answer.

How many companies are you talking about?

Perhaps Google will be your best bet after all. People here like to help but regurgitating information on many companies that is freely and easily obtained via a search might be pushing it a bit.
 
Audiogon.com has a company directory on its site that is huge and detailed with phone numbers and websites.........its fantastic! Click learn then look for company info or directory its all in alphabetical order.

However, I did search google for all of these brands. I searched google, wikipedia, wayback, Audiokarma forums.. I think they are all brands that are long gone, oldtimers.

I don't expect to find much information here either, but anything is welcome. There might just be this 1 person who worked at one of those companies, and one on another one, and so on. You never know until you try ;)

If you have any other idea on how to get information from the web, I'll gladly check that first!
