Hello
Long time follower first time post. I getting into vintage audio and had saved a few dollars and I was wondering on advice on improving the sound experience.
I currently have
amp - Yamaha cr 800
turntable - yamaha ypd4 - shure m75hd Cartridge
speakers - Technics sb 7000a - non stock tweeter
My options are to either purchase a set of Yamaha ns 690 version 1 speakers $750 canadian, or for $1000 canadian I could get a ariston rd11, SME 3009 cartridge, dynavector ruby cartridge.
As both item are out of town I would not be able to audition until I have made my choice. Would the upgrade un turntable make a large difference or would the entire Yamaha system compliment each other.
Thanks
