Is it possible to utilize components (equalizer, processor) when listening to fm broadcasts ? How about the turntable ?
I have been trying to figure this out for some time now. In the end I would like to be able to use both the RG-2 processor
and the SG-550 equalizer on all functions. Radio, Turntable, Cassette Deck. Without having to switch Interconnects every time.

Which amp or receiver do you have? If you have pre-out/power-in jumpers on the back, you can remove the jumpers and connect the sound processors through those connections.

We REALLY need to know what equipment you are trying to do this with, BECAUSE there is some equipment that has "Record selector" switches that allow taping one source while listening to another (tuner is on as well as phono).

The sx-737 & sx-838 did that. (not the sx-636, sx-939 or sx-1010)

There are several ways to do this, one is the pre-out / power amp in jacks.

Then there are the tape monitor jacks (tape 1 / tape 2 : REC / PB). The switch combinations vary depending upon the style.

The eq input goes to REC, the eq output goes to PB.

Some switches just say "Tape 1" or "Tape 2", and those just get pushed in to route the signals out to the eq, and back in.

Other switches say things like "source", "1","2". We really need to know the model for important details.swi
