I consider that all compositions exist, and the goal is just to find it in the viewfinder. This seemed obvious. 1/3 sky and distant mountains, 2/3 below that are divided equally by the orange line. The sky trails mimic the rail tracks. It's a selfie.

Lots of orange and tans in the scene naturally, plus early morning low sun, Porta 160 film, and then add some warmth in Lightroom.

Film developing

Processing and Scanning Film from around the world. 35mm, 120mm, and Sheet film processing, C41, Black and White, and E6 color positive film. Located in Carlsbad, California.

I am not sure what the gear was. That photo was from 2016 or so. I am pretty sure it was a drum scanner, but it's been too long for me to recall the model. They did a nice job for me for about five years. They developed the film, printed a proof sheet, and then put the scans on a CDROM. They hand-corrected the scans. Nice folks.

Edit: That was for 120 film. On 35mm I usualy did my own scans on a Plustek 7300(?) and an Epson flatbed.
