None of my PCs give me any trouble. The very first PC I bought in 1997 or so still works with all original stuff albeit larger than original HDD and more RAM. Don't use it anymore but it still works.

Fact is though, near 90% of the desktop/laptop market is Windows/PC so inherently there will be more talk about issues.
