Computer randomly stopped producing bass

My computer used to have really good bass, then at some point I restared it, and now it sounds really bad. ive tried using equalizers, but now i still makes people sound like they're stuffy or smth and when i listed to music, the bass just sounds like crap. any help would be nice! (Ive updated all my driverson the computer, and its not the speakers, because ive connected them to another pc and they worked fine

you could always try system restore, if you have that enabled that is.

maybe there is a restore point prior to some setting getting tweaked somehow somewhere.

but since you make zero mention of any specifics, that's all i can offer.

You'll need to be more specific. Type of computer, what sound card is installed, OS version, powered speakers? Passive speakers running through an amp? Etc...

what/how is the audio signal exiting the computer into the receiver, what software is being used to play music, eq settings, etc etc.
