I've been looking for a Concept 11.0 for a long time. This receiver is usually found in peoples top 10 if not top 5 receiver picks. I found an absolute beauty thats been professionally refurbished and looks and works like it came out of the box in the 70s. I've owned a Concept 4.5 for 35 years and it sounds great, but I've always wanted the 11.0. Here's the hitch. The guy is asking $700 or best. I'm tempted to just say screw it and jump on it, but I don't want to massively overpay for it either. Your thoughts?:scratch2:

I got the one I bought for a friend for $140. You might want to let the seller know this is more like it too.
Really nice receiver but I don't think they out perform Yamaha units of similar spec and they can be had cheaper too. Oh and the fit and finish on the Yamahas is nicer as well.
Just a thought.

Add @minimum a couple hundred for complete servicing on top of an otherwise clean original unit and go from there. I would think $400 wouldn`t be out of line for one that`s good for 20 more years.
