Connecting Bluesound Node to Sansui QR-4500

Hi, I am new to this forum and not sure if I can ask this question here. My father-in-law had a Sansui QR-4500 receiver that still seems to be in a good state. I have tried to connect my Bluos Node 2 through the 2-channel AUX entry, but I do not get sound. Speakers are JBL 4311 and they work well with my NAD amplifier.

Anyone has an idea of what could be wrong ?

Thanks for your help.

Does the blue node work with the NAD amp?

Do you get sound from the Sansui tuner or other sources (like a CD player)?

Have you checked the position of the tape monitor switches on the Sansui?

Are you using the correct Aux input for the front channels of the Sansui and do you also have the speakers connected to the front channels?

Are the pre out / main in jumpers in place as in this photo?: https://silverfacestereo.files.wordpress.com/2012/12/imgp0691.jpg
