Connecting LOMC to Preamp to Amp Phono?

Hey gang - I've a question about a very specific connection; I've spent a good week scrolling through various sites and not found anything that addresses this specifically, including here . . . but I'm entirely confident that somebody here will know the answer.
I'm upgrading my turntable system. I recently acquired a Nottingham Spacedeck mounted with an Ortofon Rondo Blue LOMC cartridge - which I'm lovin'. I upgraded my preamp accordingly to a Mofi Phonostage - so far, so good. But now I'm considering moving over to a Yamaha A-S701 or 501 amp, which has a phono preamp built-in . . . but of course it's suitable for MM carts, not MC, let alone LOMC.
But I feel now I'd get stuck: I couldn't attach the TT to the amp without a preamp, since the LOMC requires that; but attaching the TT to the Mofi and then the Mofi to the phono preamp input of the amp seems like it would be too much -- ? Or would that be okay, and the Mofi preamp would boost the signal to MM-levels for the amp phono preamp to accept comfortably? Or do I ignore the phono input on the amp and just connect to a line in input, or CD input, etc.?
Sincere thanks in advance for any reassurance or, failing that, direction forward on this.

Phono preamp will connect to a line level input on the amp, not the phono input. Another option would be to put a step up transformer (SUT) between the turntable and amp MM input, but you already have the MOFI phono preamp...
