Connecting my Technics SL-B303 to pre-amp

I'm trying to hook my technics sl-b303 turntable to my subwoofer through a pyle pp999 pre-amp I just got but I got no sound at all.
I'm using the turntable's RCA cables connected to the pre-amp input, RCA cable connects the preamp's output to the subwoofer's input.
Am I doing something stupid here?

Turn table ->Pyle pre-amp -> receiver/ integrated amp -> speakers.

That is the traditional way of setting up stereo.

There are of course other alternatives now .

1) Going to need more info. Subwoofers typically don't drive speakers, so I'm confused about your set up.

2) There's a good possibility the power cord that came with your Pyle isn't functioning. I bought the same preamp 2 years ago and it didn't work. I did some research and it turns out the power cord it comes with is known for not working. I swapped it out with another suitable cord I had and the preamp worked.

Sorry but I don't understand how Subwoofers don't drive speaker?
I was using the same Subwoofer with my ION turntable
