Connecting speaker wire to KA-7300... Banana Plugs?

Hey all,

I just picked up a pretty little ka-7300 and I'm eager to introduce her to my Vienna Acoustics Mozart Grands....

I was surprised however to find that banana plugs don't fit into the Kenwood unit. Worse, the points of attachment for speaker wire are teenie tiny, a real small gauge

How do people use thicker speaker wire with these units? Do you just trim down the wire so that it fits?
Is there any way to use banana plugs on there?

Thanks,
g

Pin plugs at wire end or better braided wire end plugs. I've thought a chunk of desoldering braid would work well. This stuff would need to be no flux or washed before use but soldered on the end of speaker wire would fit many smaller terminals.
