Hi guys, I have the Technics SH-EH760 with 2 speakers tri wiring speakers What I would like to know is how can i connect these to a classic Yamaha A1020 amp? They have 3 speaker cables going from each speaker.
Here are some photos

You need to pay attention to the speaker ohm ratingsand reccomended combination listed under the binding posts on the A1020, and consider the ohm rating of the drivers individually. The combo of the tri-wiring could very well put the A1020 in danger of overheating or worse. I would wire all 3 positives together and all 3 negatives together from each speaker and use the A output assuming the speakers have internal crossovers, or run 1 wire to the bass input on the speaker and run jumpers to the mids and highs. If the speakers have no internal crossover you will risk damaging the drivers.
Good luck,
Jim

The manual doesn't state if the XO is situated in the speakers or in the amp.

If it's in the speaker (check if skeaker ohmage is ok for the amp) you can use any 3 channel amp.
If it's in the original amp, then you need to find one or get an active XO and three amps.

Time to take a look inside the speaker! :)

On the speaker inf states Impedance - low 8 mids 6 high 6 ohms.
Googling for inf on the situation i found some unconfirmed inf that the Technics amp has actually 3 amps so there is no crossover???

It is not possible to take out the back cover alltogether(no screws seems to be glued) but taking out the plastic part on the first photo and the air outlet cover i can see that the woofer is connected directly to the part that i unscrewd. The midrange has a plastic protection that does not let me see how the other wires are connected.but seems that midrange is also connected directly to the speaker terminal.

Those are some strange speakers if what you say is true.

In fact, they're strange either way.

What you're gonna need is 3 amplifiers, a source, and a 3 way stereo active crossover. Find out what the xover points are, and set the active xover to those, connect to the amps, and enjoy.

How about some more pics of these things?

I wasn't suggesting taking the crossover panel out; rather, you should take the entire woofer out so that you have a good view of everything inside the cabinet.
