Console ID?

Anyone recognize this console Make and Model? Am wondering it it is old enough to have a tube amp in it. I’ve not seen it in person or would look in the back side.

Couple ways to tell.

Brand, Model number.

How many watts it draws from the wall.

How long it takes to "Warm Up".

Look inside with a flashlight.

Just looking at the more modern turntable I would bet it's a SS console. Maybe a hybrid?

I've got those knobs. They came off a Motorola console if I remember. Correctly.
I'd love a source of more of those gorgeous 1950s knobs.

Changer is a Voice of Music I think, but doesn't have the gold coloring typical of a Motorola branded VM. Not impossible it isn't the original piece though.

I wonder if this is mono, or if it was a two piece console. There are some really small stereo units but this looks not big enough for that.

I never saw the chassis, just the guts but the one I got had 2 satellite electrostatic speakers that Don't appear to be with this one, so you get a bass channel, probably a single 15" with a micro voice coil...
I'd pass on it unless they're giving it away and loading it for free. There wasn't much useful besides those gorgeous knobs.

Could be. It has the same gone arm I ran across on a cheap BSR turntable with a MM cartridge one it. Insaw another that had a set screw on th2 back of the tone arm to set tracking force. Both arms looked like that one.

It is a philco from around 1962 or 63, these had satellite mid/high speakers. It looks like the vm changer may be a later replacement.
