Pretty sure you meant to type "dual" tuner, unless they both play at the same time and battle each other! I've never heard of Hudson, but I've seen several dual tuners.

Well, if you've ever heard an AM/FM simulcast tuner in action, "duel tuner" is a pretty apt description. Mine plays AM from one side and FM from the other. Sitting in the middle will give you a headache.

Yes, you can dial in a station on Am and Fm, I've had a few tuners like this, One was a stromberg carlton, so you can listen to the ballgame and your radio program at the same time, and yes Hudsons the retailer most likely had it built.

The groovy S-C tuner that was basically an AM tuner and an FM tuner bolted together? THose look neat with those fish eye lenses over the tuning indicator.

I had one of those tuners... still have the S-C receiver, but sold the tuner. It was pretty, but I had little use for it.

I gave away the tuner, Im left with the amp, chassis #0515 9, it runs 2 pair of el84
and 2 12au7 with SS recto, I'd like to rebuild to current spek or new circuit, its full of RMC ceramic caps, so at this point it's a project, it sounds good now, so with upgrade caps and new lytics it would suit my needs 15/20watts is plenty

I picked one up today. It looks like PP with 4 EL84s and 2 12AX7s but two different OPTs?
