Console ID?

Greetings everyone! I know this is a long shot, but I have faith in the collective intelligence of this fine community, anyways, can anyone ID this console?
Any help is greatly appreciated as always!


This pic is all I got to go on, the console will be at an estate sale....trying to decide if I want to travel some to check this out the preview day before the auction .

I can't tell you the brand but it looks like tube.......if that's what you were looking for.

Can't tell. It does look first class. Top opening....looks wide enough for a TT and Tuner.

It really looks first quality. The woodwork/cabinetry look high end. I'd take a chance.

If there are any records in any of the other estate photographs.....that might lend a clue to what era/year they were buying records and using the console...

Definitely 1960’s.. Can’t see any emblem.. I’m leaning towards RCA.. But could be VOM, Zenith, Sylvania, Curtis Mathes, Motorola.. maybe even The Fisher. The fact there’s no emblem could also mean its a custom job.. could be some really nice stuff in there.

The Danish modern cabinetry looks very nice. I would grab it.

Definitely looking for tube! Although I really dont need another console, I have three already, this one looks really nice from what I can tell.

It looks really similar to my 1962/1963 Packard Bell (which has an EL84 amp) in style, so I'm hoping it's a high end piece!

Leland47, that is really good advice about the records! Unfortunately, there were no pictures of any records in the estate listing, but it did say that the owner was moving into a nursing home, and judging by the other items at the estate sale, it appears that the time period might line up for a tube console.

I can't tell you what it is but I can say with almost 100% certainty that it's not Magnavox. Unless somebody has the exact same console it would be hard to make an identification since there were so many manufacturers and models made. I've sent massages in the past to the owner and request a shot of the tuner/changer up close and most of the time they will do that.

Yeah, hard to say for sure, but I'm thinking Curtis Mathes.
Both my parents and grandparents had something very similar.
My uncle was a dealer.

From what I saw from an initial search on the interwebs, it does appear similar to a Cutis Mathes product....I will update this thread as soon as I get to take a look at it during the preview if I decide to go.
