HELP! I bought this ceiling can speaker, a steal at $65, just for the driver. I was going to just take the driver out and mount it in some box, to be figured out later. It turned out to be slightly more complicated, as it was designed for distributed systems, which I don't understand. I finally extricated all of the components from the can and have posted pictures. Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated. My main concern is getting the transformer set right for a normal old skool receiver.

Find a manual, but...I do believe in the "low z" position of the switch, the transformer is bypassed and signal goes straight in, looking like an 8 ohm speaker. Hard to see the tracing, but the transformer could be removed in that position. Checking the connections with an ohm meter and the switch could be bypassed if necessary.

Gordan W used to build retail towers using those drivers. I know he got rid of the transformer and used the existing crossover in a cabinet with a 9in baffle. I wanna say 1.5 cu ft tuned to 35hz but could be off there.
