Dang, those make my little Stromberg Carlson ASR 220 integrated amp look like a child's toy!
 
110 watts seems pretty doable; it looks like a quad of 6L6s in each amp. If the tubes are vintage and good, $600 seems like a steal.

Really? I mean, I guess it depends what they sound like, but I figured a pair of 110-watt tube monoblocks that have been gone over, with vintage tubes, should be worth that.

Yep, I do, but those aren't mine.. Mine are 200w each, and no controls on them... Mine are APH-1200

That's a hell of a steal on those amps, especially if he includes the tubes. If I was in the position at the moment, which I ain't, I'd be owning those right now..

Not sure I get what you are saying... Those are some pretty serious chunks of iron on those. The asking price alone almost covers the cost of the iron if you wanted some trannys as beefy as those are..

I am not trying to gore anyone's ox but saying they are PA amps with quite likely, limited-bandwidth audio transformers. Big iron does not equal serious iron, it just means big. If you've had great luck with yours, excellent. $600 is a gamble though unless you know for certain the iron has good frequency response.
 
Good point, but a little something I found out there..

"I did read up some where that the frequency response was only up to 16Khz and at 25 watts output the frequency only goes to 55Hz, but I will have to try and measure to see if this is true, all I have is a really old scope and signal generator, and a 10 Ohm 25 Watt resistor dummy load."

Your very correct, I just sold one not to long ago. Different model but same quad of 6L6's. It sold for under 200$. PA amps don't commend the same price as hifi amps. I have sold many PA amps and the aren't that popular. I have heard that they only make good amps for instrument players. 600$ may be fair but I think they and overpriced.
