Coral BX 1201

Hello all! Newbie here. I am browsing my local FB Marketplace and came across a pair of Coral BX-1201 speakers. The seller is asking $100. The speaker foam, covers and cabinets are in great shape and intact.
What are the pros and cons of this brand?

Pros and cons, eh? Well, thems what you call Kabuki speakers. Japanese speakers that tend to be from the late 1960s, but more from the ‘70s. They will have multiple tweeters and mids, all over the baffle. They are generally known for party speakers, garage speakers, non critical listening speakers. Perfect for someone new to the hobby to learn with, install new caps, pass along. Try to talk the seller down. These will definitely be ones that you’ll be passing along soon. They’re fun, and a part of the learning process.
