Got these little drivers today, I'm pretty sure they are a rebadged version of the coral flat 5. Label says "Electra" Flat 5 full range speaker 8ohm 8 watt Japan. I'm pretty sure coral has been rebadged before by several different companies.
Can find no info on the Electra name but flat 5 brings up Coral drivers which look very much(exactly?) like these. Magnets are chrome like some of the flat 5.
Aluminum dust cap, fabric surround, fairly stiff suspension.
Any idea what kind of enclosure might work? How about a small open baffle(simple for me)?
these drivers were found in a pair of large old wooden speakers in use as midrange drivers with some beat up old PEavey 12" and one cab had a small plastic horn and the other a 2-3" paper tweeter.
