"Cornwall E" on eBay

There's a pair of Cornwalls on eBay, item number 150428590783.

They're listed as being "Cornwall E" and the photo of the label indicates "Exclusively made for Audio International, Frankfurt/Germany".

Does anyone have further information on these "European-spec" Cornwalls? Thanks!

I don't know about the Cornwall Es but I have a pair of Heresy Es with the same labeling. They're cheapened up a bit from regular Heresys. The backs are poorer grade of pine plywood rather then birch and the crossover capacitors are cheaper. All of the drivers are the same though.

If they're like my Heresys with a crossove cap update they'll be functionally the same as any Cornwall sold here in the states.
 
There was a Norwegian (?) audiophile (the old Sherwood Geo-Cities site was his) who claimed to have worked for the Klipsch European distributor in the 1970s, and that Klipsch had a modified XO for European tastes, designed by a German.

Maybe these are them. Maybe he was delusional.
