Thank you for correcting me. I did not know the LMAHL was a different diaphragm material. So that explains some of what I was not understanding. It is not simply replacing TI with Ti.

I don't have any direct experience with the K-107, but I do have a K-79 and a couple Klipsch 1" Ti Mid drivers. I find them to be rather harsh and fatiguing compared to drivers with phenolic and mylar diaphragms. Quite a few oldheads like the brightness of Ti diaphragms because it offsets their hearing loss in the upper range, which I can sympathize with, because I have significant HF hearing loss myself, however, I much prefer the mylar diaphragms used in the B&C DE10 and DE120 that @Daveintn uses in the L-MAHL and sMAHL for the way they produce transients, which I find to me much more natural sounding.
I believe DaveinTN chose specifically as a drop-in replacement. I've had them in my Heresy II's for a couple years now and didn't add anything, also didn't add the optional attenuator pot (didn't need it). The sound difference still amazes me every time I listen to them. It's nice to own something that brings a smile to your face every once in a while.
