Am a proud 2nd owner of a pair of 1st gen cornwalls....traded a working technics qd-33 tt and a little 25 watt per channel technics ss receiver...dont even remember the model...AND hooked up the guys h.t.i.a.b......even tried to talk him out of getting rid of the cornwalls... In my barn.. powered by a pair of rotel 980 bx amps in bridged mono mode...rotel 960 bx preamp....well.. they sound wonderful....gonna go the recappin route...maybe even turn em into cornscalas...but def loving them...
