Cornwall verticals with 12" woofer??

Maybe someone can enlighten me about this. I have a line on a set of verticals and the guy says they are definitely 12" woofers.
The cabs are tagged Cornwall, the cab dimensions match Cornwall but the 12 is throwing me off.
Numbers are C-WR12, Serials are 145-146. 1961 is also on the cabinet.
Was there a Cornwall with a 12" woofer? Trying to get pics and the speakers are 50 miles away.

:scratch2: I have never seen or heard of a factory made Cornwall that had 12" woofer. Who knows what was special ordered back then. You might post this on the Klipsch factory forum.

I`m thinking your right about special order, there would have to be some information out there if they were a production.
 
The one that's on the klipsch website when you do a search for cornwall I looks like it has a smaller woofer than a 15 to me. That one must be really old because the cabinet and shape of the grill is different from any I've seen before. Or maybe the it's just the picture that make the woofer look so small?
