Back when the UK was afflicted with Hoof & Mouth disease, the authorities at IAD (where I returned to the USA) had those of us who had been in pastoral settings in the UK step into a shallow bath of disinfectant solution so that the soles of our shoes were cleansed of microbes.

They didn't even bother to ask if we were still wearing the same footwear we had on when we were back on the farm in Derbyshire or wherever. Such is bureaucracy.

Now the Chinese have locked down entire metropolises, but they gave advance warning of a day or two, for reasons which elude me. Will it work? "Temperature screening main method used at transport hubs" -- Don't most diseases have incubation periods before symptoms show? Whoa: the Bloomberg story linked below says "the pathogen’s incubation period could be up to two weeks."

I dunno, guys... As some of you know, my wife retired last year after a 40 year hitch as an RN, the last 15 or so at the local VA hospital in Johnson City, Tn... She basically never paid much attention when the TV came on w/an alert on some dread disease-it was all background racket. But she "Shushes" me up when something comes on about this "Corona" business, says it scares her..She hasn't elaborated on it, but something caught her interest over the daily blapblapblapblap that De Tooob De Boob goes on & on with... Maybe there IS something to it, THIS time...
 
And many "bug stoppers" are now either ineffectual or becoming more so. And funding / research is not keeping up. Variety of reasons of course. Including how "smart" these bugs actually are and how many people now populate the planet. Just my 2c's. YMMV.

I've been using it for years, it's like having a second immune system.

The last case of flu I had was in 2006....I'd known about CS but hadn't done anything until I caught the flu going around at Christmastime, thought it was going to kill me.

Bought a CS maker and haven't had a bad illness since.

Thanks for the backup Fester. People think it's a hoax. Nope. It is soo easy to make and use for dozens and dozens of health issues.
Back when swine flu was going around 9-10 years ago I caught it and it was bad. I could see how the elderly and the young could die from it. I happened to be in Florida visiting at the time and away from my maker, but when I got home, made a batch and it was knocked out of me within 2 days.. If I had it at the beginning it never would have manifest itself as a full blown flu.
My 24 volt maker is one of the most valuable things in my medicine chest.

Well... this should be considered a "test run" for the coming bacteria now freed up from millenium past.. as a result of the polar meltdowns. This water, undoubtedly harvesting prehistoric breeds, need be our real concern!

But then again, evolution will have its say ultimately and "weed out" the weaker species.. Seemingly in the arrogance of disrespecting "the law", the continuance of humankind should feel "threatened" :dunno:

They haven't got very far, as far as I can see, they'll more likely be turning the foundation trenches into mass graves. :(
