Correct nut size to remove Marantz HD 660 speaker pots?

Hi: I have my 660 speakers opened up for refoam, and want to clean and grease the pots while accessible. I know you need a dedicated offset socket to release the pots assembly - but what is the size? Half inch? 12mm, or 13mm, I can't tell from my non offset sockets. Thanks if anyone knows!

Just needs a deep socket. Drop by, I probably have the size you need, we could do it some evening if that helps. my guess is metric, 11-12-13.

I'm in Milwaukee, so can't drop by. Metric helps - you pretty sure about that? I tried an 11 and 13 deep socket without luck. I am thinking it is a half inch or 12 mm. Do you know if they mixed metric and English? Also, once I remove the nut holding the pots, will the assembly just fall out ie I cant pull it out via the open woofer hole? Or is it more involved?

Expect metric because of made in japan. A deep socket should fit but you need the right size. Of course, harbor freight has a set for a few bucks, 20% off coupon and a free with purchase item. I can't say it isn't 1/2.

Is that what is holding the crossover in the cabinet? The whole crossover should come out if so, giving access to
the pots for cleaning.

I have the answer: It is a 12mm bolt. My came off with just finger pressure without a driver using a 12 mm deep socket.
