I recently got this at an estate sale for a small price. It plays but there's a high pitch humming that's present across all input selections. The humming is not made louder by adjusting any other knobs. But the pitch of the humming seems to modulate higher or lower when adjusting balance. The noise can be mostly muted by the High filter function. The only lights still functional are two for the tuner.
One more thing, in case you don't already know, I am not a technical person. In fact, I bet I rank in the top 5 percentile for AKers lacking technical knowledge. But I'm earnest and will follow directions provided they're not in Japanese or barked out angrily. Thanks for any help. Cheers.
