Hello all, new member long time watcher. I for a long time have been using a cr1020 receiver and have been using and enjoying it to its fullest extent and have recently come to a bit of a dilemma. My daughter is getting at an age where she’s taken notice of it and it’s many knobs and switches and is constantly messing with it.For a long time it’s sat on what might be called a sideboard and has enjoyed its life there, however now with my daughter I’m in need to put it in a cabinet of some kind with a door that closes. Seeing as the Yamaha is a bit wider than your typical hifi piece I’m finding it hard to find a piece of furniture that came accommodate it and adhere to my requirements of having a door that closes. So my question overall is what can you guys suggest that would work for me thanks

Welcome to AK. Questions, what will your wife accept as an answer? What matches with the décor? What else is in your system? There are many solutions out there, you have to think out side the box. What can be repurposed to solve/ protect your toys. There have been many good discussions here, look at members systems. I have an old A/V cabinet adapted to my system.

You could have a custom vinyl cover made for it. Might work to keep prying fingers at bay. Out of sight..out of mind?
