Craftsman Power Power Tool Accessory Switch Repair
Surely you DIY-ers have seen one of these slick devices which turns on, for example, a shop vac when a table saw is turned on, at least thats what I used it for unit is stopped switching. It is a Craftsman 24031 power tool accessory switch.
So pulled it apart and tested all the diodes (in circuit) and they test OK. That transistor you see is a CR02 AM 8 23. I tested it also in circuit and am getting "OL" on each combination tested. Would anyone know what may typically fail on a device like this that may have been overloaded?
Thanks!
