update
The only one of the five I havent checked out yet is the Dual 1019.
As being retired with "wife" chores and all, I have enjoyed going over each of the other four "with learning experience". Mind you, I initially got these tables to save them from "destruction" or disposed of, as you may. Thinking that, with a little cleaning up and possible minimum repairs, someone may have some use for them. I, myself, have the table I want.
Here is what I found: : :
Mitsubishi LT-55 - Yes, it is a linear tracking. At first, plugged in, did not track. That was solved by cleaning off the dried grease/lube off the tracking (screw type) rod. Smooth as a baby's butt now. Secondly, it would not linear track. This was because of the tab that slides across the power bar was not making solid contact(loose). This was solved by bending tab to make tighter connection. Tracks as smooth as a baby's butt now. There are two belts in this, one for the platter and one for the tracking rod, both seems to be still good-as to it does operate up to "par" still. Third, it carries a ADC stylus 119-D7(info attached). Overall, I am impressed with this table. This does have a speed adjustment light and the neatest thing is, it is (for the most part)fully auto-matic. You dont have to touch the tone arm at all(right slide-left slide-auto return-stop/return-play.
RCA TT100-10 - Well, as some folks have mentioned "a bunch of junk", well, I think this one falls in that line. At most, the used mossberg 12ga I just bought needs a target. This is a fully operational table, but very very low line. Especially the speed adjustment is two screws "under the table" for 33/45. No speed light adjusting. Very much "all plastic", even the platter. No disrespect to RCA now, or this table, but, I think the only thing good is the "mat". Also, the plug is "dc" and the line/wire has been repaired in one spot and needs repair in another spot. Not even worth a photo of this one.
