Picking from the pile is one thing, but . . .

What a way to treat those tubes! Looks like they were dumped out of containers onto the sheets in a pile . . . Just poured out of containers on top of each other, crack, rattle, pop!

Not exactly organized and catalogued.

First one there is going to get a great deal. He will have a tough time getting rid of the 3,000 tubes nobody wants. Just like the guy with 4,000 records at a buck a piece. After the first dozen people go through, there is nothing of value left.

I called the guy- he sounds like a young kid- nice enough though. He said they were his father's collection.

I politely informed him that the description S-M-L isn't going to work for serious buyers of these things. This isn't t-shirt sizes - they're specific replacement parts and he's going to have to sort them by number. No way around it.

Gave him my wish list and my number to call me when & if he's found them. We'll see.
