Crossover help

I am using this 3 way crossover from a Beovox 2400 speaker to try a project. The crossover frequency is 900/5000. I understand the 4.7 uf for the tweet and the 25 uf for the mid but the 32 uf has me puzzled. Is it cutting lows to the woofer? Obviously I am still learning this stuff...

Well I will try to sketch my very first schematic but it might be scary bad. I have found the schematic online but it is blurry when zoomed. Did you see the thumbnail?

It's very difficult to tell without seeing the other side of the board and knowing the connections.

It looks like the LF is 2nd-order (+ve red?), inputs are grey, mid is 1st-order band pass (+ve green?), possibly an L-pad on yellow/orange/grey, and kind of second-order HF but with two caps in series and no inductor and +ve feed on purple.

The LF is red/black, mid is green/blue, tweet is purple/white, the orange/yellow/small grey is a beovox tweeter extension din connector that when plugged in cuts highs. The cap in question is connected with the woofer inductor negative input and then at the mid inductor along with the yellow wire. Maybe it is for the extension tweet.

My project is using this crossover to run a magnavox 15" 4ohm woofer for the lows, SEAS 21tv-g for mid, and SEAS 5 tv-hf for the tweet ( all 4 ohm. As well as the crossover that was with the tweetew). The woofer is in an open back box and the mid is playing on top open baffle with the tweet sitting face up behind the mid. It sounds excellent but I want to try running the mid full range next with the woofer and tweet filling in top and bottom. I plan to o order a behringer active crossover soon.

From the photo it looks that the largest cap, mounted on the larger inductor, is the HPF for the mid (and subsequently HF); the middle size cap is a 2nd-order filter for the LF, and the smallest cap is in series with the HF. Presumably there is continuity between orange and yellow when the extension plug is NOT connected?

There must be continuity there because all drivers work when the extension din connector is disconnected. So the second order filter is above my head but makes sense about the big cap being the mid cap because the woofer plays alone when that cap fell off. That 32 uf fell off of both crossovers so I hope I reconnected it correctly, It is a bipolar. Thanks j1mbo for the help!

Schematic posted at Radiomuseum.org looks quite a bit different than the physical crossover you have:

I count 4 inductors, 5 caps and a couple of resistors. Maybe there were revisions?

Thanks for posting that schematic. It does look more complicated than the one I have. The speakers were series 09 according to the label on back.
