Crossover Recommendations

I Recently received a set of Altec 811B horns and drivers. I also have set of Electovoice EVM 15B The Altecs can go down to 800hz. The EV's spec from 50 to 5khz. Wanted to create a faux VOTT set.
I know the EVMs are more of a bass guitar speaker and bass may be augmented with a subwoofer.
I was looking at a crossover at 1200 to 1500hz? Would probably need to be able to attenuate the horns?
Enclosures are some repurposed, base-reflex bare custom cabinets that housed JBL D130s with 075 and N2400 which approximate the old EVM TL606 cabinets.

I have looked at refurbing JBL or Altec canned crossovers vs all the miriad of offerings out their with new boards.

I would appreciate any input from this experienced community.

Thank you for the input. I may bi-amp with an active equalizer and play with the sound to establish preferences for a passive crossover. I have high watt drivers, so I may find new crossovers that handle higher limits.

Bi amping with an electronic crossover would be your best bet, providing it allows you to adjust crossover frequency, slope, and phase. Although you could adjust the phase at the speaker terminals if there's no adjustment on the crossover.
