This is on some Wharfedale W70's I'm finally putting into service, and decided to freshen up the crossover caps first. I can't find any paper on these, so I don't know much about them.
The tweeter crossover consists of a 4uf nonpolar cap in series with a 50 ohm linear taper pot, the wiper of which connects to the tweeter. The pot is a small one (1/2 watt-looking). Is this just to dampen highs?
