Interestingly (and I am sure you know this) Elkhart, IN (from whence the CL ad originates) was (and I think still is) Crown's home base.

I need the tuner to match the DL-2 kit and well the amp, too. I just have a D150 rignt now and it is the brushed finish. I know the preamp is something so I would compare that to the DL to see what Crown was up to in the few years after the DL came out.
 
Nice stack, but also, depending on the Fried Speakers, could also be a nice score on the speakers. Just guessing from the looks of the compact system, might be one of the smaller sets like the Model A, B, or B/2. If it is any of the larger speakers, look out, cause many of those are transmission line types.
 
The speakers are Fried Signature Series: Q-2, approximately 23x13x12 and 10 pounds. I did get a reply from the seller earlier, but nothing since early this afternoon. Likely he's getting some interest from here and perhaps some other forums as well.

I doubt the matching of satin silver Crown components is critical. Not for me. But yes the FM1 a 3RU tuner is the match for the DL, but the FM2 is a good tuner and would work and look fine with the DL. I don't know if the FM1 is part of the Distinction Series like the EQ-2, SA-2 and DL-2 so having an FM-2 would complete the twos.
