I need some ideas on what to do about a couple cosmetic issues on my Pioneer CT-F1000. In the pic you can see I have outlined the 2 issues. The metal piece has some scratches,my guess is the best I can do is try and find a new replacement piece from a "parts" deck ? If thats the case is there any other models besides the CT-F1000 that will work? The second issues is the plastic piece below where the paint has come off. Any ideas on that ? I have been known to commit sacrilege and paint case's like Marantz ect so I could paint the case and certain parts (1 being the part missing the paint) say transparent hot rod red to match my Marantz 1060 and 4415.
