Cure for the ribbon tweeter bug?

Thanks for the response. The cheapest of those is about 7 times more than what I was hoping to spend, haha.

I know that I am in a completely different galaxy than the speakers you mention, but would any of the cheap implementations of the ribbon speaker be better matched, i.e. the soon to be release MonoPrice Ribbon ( https://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id=120&cp_id=12002&cs_id=1090407&p_id=35125 ). I know it's not in the same universe as the $1K ones you mentioned but sound wise would it be closer to an EMIT than say a Klipsch or BIC horn?

It's all good. I didn't pick up any negative vibes, and I hope I didn't make you feel like I did? :)

No thoughts on the Monoprice center. It definitely seems interesting, and contains design elements that I like. Especially, the ribbon tweeter. But, I'd wait on some buyer reviews, once it's released, before making a buying decision. Unless, you want to be the first? :biggrin:
