I am new to this, but I will be picking up a Fisher Custom Electra VIII E-490 console today. I would like to restore it.

Any tips or insight for the restoration? It is in great condition aesthetically, little to know damage to the wood. I am not yet sure if it is functioning though. I will be sure to update the thread once I know.
I am curious what this model generally goes for these days. It sold for $695 in 1965, http://www.fisherconsoles.com/custom%20electra%20VIII.html. What would the value be today though?
