Actually I think that is a 1963 Executive, modern. Most likely a 800C opposed to 500C..

One of the best thing about the console receivers, they generally are in really nice shape because they spend there life protected very well.. :thmbsp:

I have one in italian provetal cabinet.. Definately worth picking up at that price although she looks a little rough.

I think that may just be cat scratches on the grill cloth. Everything else looks pretty clean.

funny thing about the cloth, they do not represent the speaker enclosure in shape and size. Each enclosure is 1/2 total width of cabinet and not very tall to accomondate tt and r2r's

bob,
you should be able to strip the tt, r2r, reciever, front doors and speaker backs off within 1 hour. it lightens it up quite a bit and also offers great access to clean while putting back together. it will still take 2 strong guys to move. i do not know measurements or weight off hand
