DAC for Vintage SX-1250

I'm looking for a DAC or AVR that is suitable for a large vintage receiver. I'm going to be hooking the SX-1250 up to a newer set of Bose 901s. The ideal DAC would have bluetooth/streaming connectivity, an optical in that can connect to a TV for other integrations like an Apple TV and a remote control. I've been looking at DACs like Cambridge Audio 200M or Topping D70, but was also wondering if an AVR would be a better fit. Let me know what you all think!! I would appreciate any help and suggestions. I'm very new to Hi-Fi

Buy whatever fills your requirements. As long as it has analog outs the receiver is immaterial. You don't need an AVR. They have a bunch of stuff you don't need for two channel stereo. Nor should you pay for what you don't need.

I would recommend the Bluesound Node 2i. Great streamer, nice sounding DAC, and controlled with the BluOS phone app which is a great interface.(and it has optical output).

I agree try not over think this

Also when asking a question like you should state your budget this helps to dial in suggestions that will meet your financial criteria

Wow! I just checked these guys out and watched their videos. NICE stuff but pricey.
 
I recommended it for two reasons. First, I have it and enjoy it. Secondly, it is in the same price range as the Cambridge and Topping units you mentioned in your original post.
