Good advice! Murphy's law always dictates a proactive and defensive position. Better yet to build an enclosure that is not portable and has proper safeguards, switching, and GFI type outlets.

+ a BIG 1 on that. It takes little, if any, extra money to build a device like this that affords safety (as oppose to something cobbled together that affords none)

I've seen plenty of electrical safety films in my career. Real events, real people. It's both enlightening and depressing to see a person, alive and healthy in one moment go instantly to a dead rag doll hitting the floor. Sometimes there are just NO second chances.
